(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Motor Speedway is pleased to announce the 2016 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series schedule. The 2016 schedule will consist of 133 feature events spread over 22 race dates, kicking off with the 45th Annual NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler on April 22-24, and culminating with the 44th Annual NAPA Auto Parts Fall Final Weekend on October 1-2. Stafford\u2019s SK Modifieds\u00ae, Late Models, SK Lights, Limited Late Models, and DARE Stocks will be joined by the U.S. Legend Cars on 14 of the 22 race dates. New for the 2016 season will be a pair of races for the Wild Thing Karts that race at Stafford on Monday nights. The Senior Champs division will hit the track on Friday, July 1 and the Junior Outlaw division will race on July 22.<\/p>\n

Keeping the focus on family affordable pricing, the schedule includes many discount event nights, like the popular BFF night, Girls Night Out, Facebook Friday, Back 2 SK\u00aeool Blitz, Military Appreciation Night and First Responder Night. For the 26th consecutive season, the month of May is Youth Organization Month. All children 14 and under are admitted FREE when wearing a youth organization Team shirt or Uniform.

NAPA Auto Parts, the Elite Corporate Sponsor and official auto parts of Stafford Speedway will offer discount coupons for Friday night events and free kids tickets. Coupons will be available by visiting a participating NAPA stores. NAPA also offers discount event tickets to the NAPA Spring Sizzler, NAPA SK 5k and the NAPA Fall Final. <\/p>\n

\u201cAfter putting much thought and consideration into the 2016 schedule while keeping our teams and fans at the forefront we are again placing our focus on family affordable pricing,\u201d explained Mark Arute, President\/COO. \u201cWith a total of 22 events, of which 7 include touring division events and the NAPA SK 5k, it was important to keep the majority of the remaining 15 events as NASCAR Whelen All-American Series events and keep the ticket prices unchanged. We are focused on providing affordable pricing for our events and are working on multiple promotions to add to the affordability of our weekly program. Stafford Motor Speedway will host three fireworks nights during the 2016 season. The 16th Annual Summer Blast-Off will be held on June 17, with fireworks accompanying the Friday Night Five Star Series action on July 1 and on August 19.<\/p>\n
