All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Models are set to return to Vermont\u2019s Thunder Road International Speedbowl <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_735134860\"><span class=\"aQJ\">this Sunday<\/span><\/span> afternoon at <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_735134861\"><span class=\"aQJ\">1:30 PM<\/span><\/span>.\u00a0 In addition to 150 laps for New England\u2019s fastest racers, the 54<sup>th<\/sup> Annual Mekkelsen RV Memorial Day Classic will feature 100 laps for Thunder Road\u2019s ACT Late Models, plus the PASS Modifieds, Street Stocks, and Tigers.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Center Conway, NH\u2019s DJ Shaw has had a solid start to the 2016 PASS North season, currently sitting second in points on the strength of a win in the Southern Maine Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep 150 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway.\u00a0 While Shaw is happy with his results so far, the 2014 PASS North champion believes he and his team can be even better.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think we&#8217;ve gotten off to a decent start this season, we&#8217;ve had a little bit of inconsistency that we need to work on, but we got a win early and that&#8217;s always good,\u201d says Shaw, driver of the HK Powersports\/Mulkern Excavating #60.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In PASS North\u2019s first ever trip to Thunder Road International Speedbowl last season, Shaw was a picture of consistency as he challenged eventual winner, Joey Doiron for the checkered flag.\u00a0 Shaw hopes to turn the tables <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_735134862\"><span class=\"aQJ\">on Sunday<\/span><\/span> afternoon as he looks to recapture the championship points lead from Mike Hopkins.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGoing into Thunder Road I&#8217;m optimistic about getting back on track with a solid finish,\u201d says Shaw.\u00a0 \u201cIt&#8217;s one of the toughest tracks we go to, but our [Dale Shaw Racing] cars swept the top four positions last year and I can only hope for that kind of success again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN\">As is becoming usual for PASS North Super Late Model events, the field will again be stacked for <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_735134863\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Sunday<\/span><\/span> afternoon\u2019s 54<sup>th<\/sup> Annual Mekkelsen RV Classic, including former HP Hood Oxford 250 winners, Travis Benjamin, Glen Luce and Ben and Mike Rowe, along with former PASS champion, Johnny Clark.\u00a0 Former ACT Thunder Road winner, Joey Polewarczyk will be in the field, along with fellow New Hampshire drivers Wayne Helliwell, Jr. and Jeremy Davis.\u00a0 Homestate favorites Todd Stone and Scott Payea will be in the field as well as New Brunswick veteran, Matt Matheson.\u00a0 Maine drivers will fill out the field led by David Oliver and Brent Dragon, as well as Massachusetts veteran Derek Ramstrom.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>All the action gets under way on <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_735134864\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Sunday<\/span><\/span> at Thunder Road International Speedbowl with practice beginning at <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_735134865\"><span class=\"aQJ\">10 AM<\/span><\/span> and racing slated to start at <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_735134866\"><span class=\"aQJ\">1:30 PM<\/span><\/span> for the PASS North Super Late Models, PASS Modifieds, Thunder Road\u2019s ACT Late Models, Street Stocks, and Tigers.<\/p>\n<p>PASS North Super Late Model entry
