MacDonald started in the fifth starting position and would take the lead on a lap 54 restart.<\/p>\n<p>The 2009 Oxford 250 and ACT Invitational at New Hampshire Motor Speedway winner would lead the remainder of the race but not without pressure from hometown favorite Tommy Ricker of Poland, ME. Ricker got to the rear bumper of MacDonald several times in the final laps but didn\u2019t have enough to get by while the two worked their way through lap traffic. The 2009 ACT Late Model Tour Champion Brian Hoar took third after leading the first 25 laps. MacDonald\u2019s only other ACT Late Model Tour win also came at Oxford Plains Speedway in August of 2007.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nJohn Donahue made a late race charge from his 31st starting position to finish fourth followed by Tim Brackett rounding out the top 5. Travis Adams, Scott Payea, Brent Dragon, Jeff White and TJ Brackett rounded out the top ten.<\/p>\n<p>The 150 lap event was completed in just over 52 minutes and was slowed by just one caution on lap 54.<\/p>\n<p>With his win in the second event of the 2010 ACT Tour schedule. MacDonald joins opening day winner Nick Sweet as the first two qualifiers for the ACT Invitational at New Hampshire Motor Speedway that will be held on Saturday, September 18.<\/p>\n<p>Several ACT Tour regulars failed to qualify for the feature including Jamie Fisher, Pete Potvin, Joey Laquerre, Chip Grenier, Craig Bushey, Derek Lynch, Jeff Zuidema, Eric Chase, Jean-Paul Cyr, Joey Polewarczyk, Jr., and Tyler Cahoon. A total of 53 competitors attempted to qualify.<\/p>\n<p>The ACT Late Model Tour will be back in action on Friday, June 11 at Lee USA Speedway in Lee, NH for the makeup of the previously postponed NH Governor\u2019s Cup 150.
