Polewarczyk needed to qualify through the consolation round after a mechanical issue in his heat race, leaving him in 25th starting spot. (.333-mile oval)<\/p>\n<p>STARTED: 25th<br \/>\nFINISHED: 8th<br \/>\nLED: 0 times for 0 laps<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n*****************<\/p>\n<p>JOEY, HOW GOOD DOES IT FEEL TO FINALLY HAVE A NIGHT GO YOUR WAY?<\/p>\n<p>Just finishing and having a good run is the biggest thing right now. After the heat race (when we broke a distributor gear), I thought to myself, &#8216;Oh, here we go again.&#8217; But everybody worked really hard and we got back out just in time for the consi and made the race.<\/p>\n<p>The car handled so good, if we qualified better I know we had a car good enough to win. But starting 25th, we used up so much of our tires just getting up there. Still, I&#8217;m really pleased with the way the Ford motor performed and it feels good to have something good to talk about.<\/p>\n<p>THE CAR SEEMED TO BE BEST ON LONG RUNS TONIGHT.<\/p>\n<p>Oh yeah, it really was. We picked them off one at a time it seemed.
