(Stafford Springs, CT)—As a special bonus for this year\u2019s CARQUEST Belts &
\nHose Pit Party during the 38th Annual CARQUEST Fall Final Weekend on Sunday,
\nOctober 3rd, the first 700 fans through the Pit Party gates will receive a
\nreusable bag compliments of CARQUEST Auto Parts. The CARQUEST Belts and
\nHose Pit Party allows race fans to meet and greet the drivers of the NASCAR
\nWhelen Modified Tour along with the drivers from Stafford\u2019s five NASCAR
\nWhelen All-American Series racing divisions.
\n
\nStafford Motor Speedway and CARQUEST Auto Parts will prolong the celebration
\nof 25 years of partnership through the famed CARQUEST Belts and Hose Pit
\nParty. The 38th Annual CARQUEST Fall Final Weekend will mark the 38th
\nWhelen Modified Tour event to be held at Stafford with title sponsorship
\nfrom CARQUEST Auto Parts. CARQUEST Auto Parts began sponsoring the CARQUEST
\nFall Final Weekend in 1995, and from 1996 through 2000, the Whelen Modified
\nTour event was a 300-lap extravaganza with 5 different winners in 5 races.
\nIn 2001, the Spring Sizzler became the Tech-Net Spring Sizzler to better
\npromote CARQUEST\u2019s Tech-Net Professional Auto Service and Tech-Net also
\nbecame the title sponsor of Stafford\u2019s two pit parties that season. The
\nTech-Net designation gave way to CARQUEST\u2019s Belts and Hose line and Stafford
\n\u2019s pit parties continue to flourish with the support of CARQUEST Auto Parts.
\nAnother special giveaway will be at Whelen Modified Tour Sunoco Rookie of
\nthe Year candidate Richie Pallai, Jr.\u2019s car. Fans that stop by the #39
\nBosch Spark Plugs car will receive a complimentary CARQUEST tee-shirt.
\nPallai is currently 5 points behind Justin Bonsignore in the race for the
\n2010 Rookie of the Year honors and he heads into New Hampshire this weekend
\nin 15th place in the 2010 Whelen Modified Tour points standings.
\nThis year\u2019s CARQUEST Belts & Hose Pit Party will also have a special
\npresentation. During the 2010 NASCAR season at Stafford Motor Speedway, Ted
\nChristopher has been racing to help beat breast cancer. For each victory
\nthat Christopher records this season at Stafford, he will donate $100 and he
\nwill donate $1 for every lap he completes at Stafford this season to Breast
\nCancer Research in Connecticut. For every dollar that Christopher
\ncontributes to the Race To The Finish To Beat Breast Cancer, Stafford Motor
\nSpeedway will match Christopher\u2019s total. Christopher and Stafford\u2019s
\ndonation total currently stands at $3,460. With three more races on the
\n2010 schedule, Christopher can add another $1,060 to that total if he can
\nwin all three races. Christopher will make a check presentation to
\nrepresentatives of The Race to the Finish to Beat Breast Cancer during the
\nCARQUEST Belts & Hose Pit Party.
\nThe CARQUEST Belts and Hose Pit Party has been a Stafford Motor Speedway
\ntradition for over 20 years, offering fans a unique perspective to not only
\nmeet and greet with their favorite drivers, but to get up close and personal
\nwith their favorite racecars as well. Stafford Motor Speedway hosts two
\nCARQUEST Belts and hose Pit Parties each season, once at the season opening
\nCARQUEST Tech-Net Spring Sizzler Weekend and once during the season ending
\nCARQUEST Fall Final Weekend.

\nsession. Action continues on Saturday, October 2nd with Coors Light Pole
\nQualifying for the Whelen Modified Tour cars, along with heat and
\nconsolation races for Stafford\u2019s weekly divisions. Saturday will conclude
\nwith feature events for the SK Light, Limited Late Model, and DARE Stock
\ndivisions, including the All-Star Paradiso-Muska DARE Stock Shoot Out event.
\nThe Fall Final continues on Sunday, October 3rd with the CARQUEST Belts &
\nHose Pit Party followed by Stafford\u2019s SK Modifieds\u00ae and Late Models joining
\nthe Whelen Modified Tour in feature action.
\nTickets for the 38th Annual CARQUEST Fall Final Weekend are on sale now at
\nthe Speedway Box Office. Tickets are priced at $35.00 for adult general
\nadmission tickets, $5.00 for children ages 6-14, and children ages 5 and
\nunder are admitted free of charge when accompanied by an adult. Reserved
\nseating is priced at $38.00 for all ages. As always, Stafford Motor
\nSpeedway offers free parking with overnight parking available.
