The two-day special is scheduled for Oct 16 &#038; 17.<\/p>\n<p> <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>10 divisions of racecars will compete including a return of the popular Modified Racing Series for the third consecutive year. \u201cWe are delighted to add the series to the schedule,\u201d said operations manager Mike Parks. \u201cWhen they lost a race to rain earlier we saw the opportunity to bring them in. It\u2019s nice to have our track as part of the series championship run again.\u201d The touring division will compete in a 100-lap green-flag feature.<\/p>\n<p>Along with the ground-pounding 600 horse-powered modifieds, this year\u2019s season finale will have a different twist. The addition of dirt Sportsman-Modifieds, from Bear Ridge and Canaan Fair Speedways are on the schedule. Dirt modified racing on asphalt has become very popular in the Northeast. Said Parks, \u201cIt\u2019s something we want to try. See what kind of support there is.  I am confident we will have enough interest and competitors to put on a good race.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Fans of full-bodied stock cars will be pleased to know the regions Pro-Stock racers, ACT type Late Models, and Super Streets, are scheduled. All three divisions will compete in 40 lap features.<\/p>\n<p>A 40 lap feature is on tap for the tracks regular Pepsi Modified division. That race has been opened to competitors from Monadnock Speedway, Winchester, N.H., and the Stafford Springs CT, Speedway.<\/p>\n<p>Touring divisions including, the Northeast Mini-Stock Tour will contest in a 50 lap feature, The Allison Legacy Tour, a 25 lap race, and the Northeast Classic Lites, a 25 lap main event on (Saturday).<\/p>\n<p>A $1,000 to win 4 cylinder Enduro race has been scheduled for Saturday night. 50 cars are expected to compete on the 1\/3-mile asphalt oval.<\/p>\n<p>A special practice session is slated for Friday afternoon, Oct 15, from 1 to 5 PM with<\/p>\n<p>qualifying races for all divisions on Saturday at 2:00 PM, with feature races on Sunday starting at 12 noon.  The Modified Racing Series 100 lap race has been scheduled for a 3:00 PM start by track management.<\/p>\n<p>Grandstand admission price is $20.00 for the entire weekend.
