MOTORCYCLE AND AUTOMOTIVE SWAP MEETS KICK OFF 2011 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS AT STAFFORD MOTOR SPEEDWAY<\/strong><\/p>\n

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Motor Speedway will open its doors for
\nbusiness in 2011 with its traditional Spring Motorcycle and Ty-Rods
\nAutomotive Swap Meets. The Spring Motorcycle Swap Meet is the first event
\non the 2011 SMS Calendar of events, and is scheduled for Sunday, April 3rd.
\nThe 25th Annual Ty-Rods Automotive Swap Meet will be the following Sunday,
\nApril 10th.
\n
\nThe Motorcycle Swap Meet features an abundance of everything motorcycles,
\nfrom parts and pieces to leather jackets and other accessories. The
\nMotorcycle meet will also have an antique\/custom bike show. The Motorcycle
\nmeet is rain or shine, and the gates open at 7:00am on Sunday, April 3rd,
\nand the meet ends at 4pm. Admission is just $8. Vendor spaces are priced
\nat $25. All makes and models of motorcycles are welcome at the swap meet.
\nThere will be additional Motorcycle Swap Meets at Stafford on June 26,
\nAugust 14, and October 30.<\/p>\n

The 25th Annual Ty-Rods Automotive Swap Meet features an abundance of
\neverything automotive, from complete cars all the way down to suspension and
\nengine parts. There will also be a car corral for FOR SALE ONLY vehicles.
\nAdmission for the Ty-Rods meet is $10. The gates for the Ty-Rods meet will
\nopen at 7:00am, and the meet is rain or shine.<\/p>\n

Vendor spaces for the Ty-Rods meet measure approximately 10\u2019 by 20\u2019, and
\ncube vans need at least two spaces. Before March 10, vendor spaces are
\npriced at $40 per space. After March 10, the vendor space price is $50 and
\ncan be paid at the gate. The car corral is a limited area and fills up on a
\nfirst come, first serve basis. The price to display a car in the corral is
\n$25 per vehicle. The 38th Annual Fall Ty-Rods Swap Meet will be held
\nOctober 16th at SMS.<\/p>\n

\nStafford Motor Speedway kicks off its 2011 racing season with the 40th
\nannual Tech-Net Spring Sizzler presented by CARQUEST. The Tech-Net Spring
\nSizzler is scheduled for April 29-May 1, and will consist of the 200-lap
\nTech-Net Spring Sizzler for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, a 40-lap SK
\nModified\u00ae feature, a 30-lap Late Model feature, 20-lap feature events for
\nboth the SK Light Modified and Limited Late Model divisions, and a 15-lap
\nDARE Stock feature.<\/p>\n

Tickets for 40th Annual Tech-Net Spring Sizzler presented by CARQUEST are on
\nsale now and can be obtained by calling the speedway office at 860-684-2783
\nor by stopping by the office in person. Tickets for \u201cThe Greatest Race In
\nthe History of Spring\u201d are priced at $35.00 for Adult General Admission,
\n$38.00 for Reserved Seating, $5.00 for children ages 6-14, and children
\nages 5 and under are admitted FREE when accompanied by an adult. Parking is
\navailable on the speedway grounds FREE of charge, with overnight parking for
\ncampers and RVs available.<\/p>\n
