Jansen will also be on hand during the CARQUEST Belts &#038; Hose Pit<br \/>\nParty, performing some of her songs as part of the pre-race festivities.<br \/>\nJansen hails from Connecticut and she has won several awards for her music.<br \/>\nJansen won Best Female Modern Country Vocalist from the Connecticut Country<br \/>\nMusic Association (CCMA) back in 2005.  Also that year, she won Best<br \/>\nRecording for her original single, \u201cMoments\u201d, which is featured on the CCMA<br \/>\ncompilation CD.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In 2006, Jansen attended the national championships for the North American<br \/>\nCountry Music Association (NACMAI) in Nashville, TN, where she won the<br \/>\nNACMAI Horizon Female Vocalist of the Year Award.  2006 also marked the<br \/>\nrelease of her much anticipated debut CD, entitled, \u201cThis Night Belongs To<br \/>\nMe.\u201d  Jansen has since released two more CDs and her latest CD, titled \u201cBars<br \/>\nScars and Old Guitars\u201d, is currently receiving rave reviews from national<br \/>\npublications.<\/p>\n<p>The 2011 CARQUEST Tech-Net Spring Sizzler gets underway Friday, April 29<br \/>\nwith a practice session for Stafford\u2019s weekly divisions.  The practice<br \/>\nsession will be open to the public at no charge.  Action continues on<br \/>\nSaturday, April 30 with Coors Light Pole Qualifying for the Whelen Modified<br \/>\nTour cars, along with heat and consolation races for Stafford\u2019s weekly<br \/>\ndivisions.  Saturday will conclude with feature events for the SK Light,<br \/>\nLimited Late Model, and DARE Stock divisions.  The Sizzler continues on<br \/>\nSunday, May 1 with the CARQUEST Belts &#038; Hose Pit Party followed by Stafford\u2019<br \/>\ns SK Modifieds\u00ae and Late Models joining the Whelen Modified Tour in feature<br \/>\naction.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets for the \u201cGreatest Race in the History of Spring\u201d are on sale now at<br \/>\nthe Speedway Box Office.  Tickets are priced at $35.00 for adult general<br \/>\nadmission tickets, $5.00 for children ages 6-14, and children ages 5 and<br \/>\nunder are admitted free of charge when accompanied by an adult.  Reserved<br \/>\nseating is priced at $38.00 for all ages.
