KEITH ROCCO READY TO RETURN TO STAFFORD SK MODIFIED\u00ae COMPETITION WITH REPAIRED #88 CAR<\/strong><\/p>\n

(Stafford Springs, CT)—After a hard crash during his heat race last Friday
\nnight at Stafford, Keith Rocco\u2019s #88 Wheeler\u2019s Auto team has had his car
\nrepaired and it will be back on track this Friday night with Rocco behind
\nthe wheel. Rocco and his crew will take the car to Thompson tonight to
\npractice and make sure that there are no further issues before they hit the
\ntrack tomorrow night for the TSI Harley-Davidson 125 program.
\n
\n\u201cWe brought the car to Northeast Racecars, they really know how to fix stuff
\nover there,\u201d said Rocco. \u201cWe\u2019re going to take the car to Thompson tonight
\nto practice and make sure everything is good. A lot of the bolt on stuff on
\nthe front of the car was bent, we put a new front clip and suspension on the
\nfront of the car, we changed the oil pan, the starter was bad, the motor
\nplates were bent, and the rear was a little bent. It took us a little while
\non the scales to get the car back, but we have all morning tomorrow to work
\non it if we find something wrong tonight and we should be good for tomorrow
\nnight.\u201d<\/p>\n

With the heat race crash eliminating his car from racing in the feature last
\nFriday night, Rocco was able to borrow Frank Ruocco\u2019s back up car to race in
\nthe feature event. Rocco took Ruocco\u2019s #97 to an 8th place finish, keeping
\nhim in second place in the SK Modified\u00ae points standings, only 8 points
\nbehind Ryan Preece in the chase for the championship.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t say enough about Frank,\u201d said Rocco. \u201cThere\u2019s not a lot of guys
\nthat would let you just take their stuff out and race it. I can\u2019t thank him
\nenough for letting me drive his car, he\u2019s a real class act.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Rocco is currently sitting in second place in the SK Modified\u00ae
\nchampionship standings with one victory to his credit thusfar, the 2011
\nseason has been far from a smooth ride for him. An early race pitstop in
\nthe season opening CARQUEST Tech-Net Spring Sizzler put him to the rear of
\nthe field and he had to fight his way through traffic to record a sixth
\nplace finish. After a win and a fourth in his next two starts, his crash in
\nthe heat and moving to Frank Ruocco\u2019s back-up car meant he had to start
\nshotgun on the field and he raced his way to an 8th place finish.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve been running good and we\u2019re up there in the points, but for us, it
\nseems like we\u2019re in a slump right now,\u201d said Rocco. \u201cWe\u2019re running well,
\nbut we just haven\u2019t had a lot of luck on our side so far. But that\u2019s all
\npart of the game.\u201d<\/p>\n

With the turmoil of last Friday night behind them, Rocco and the #88 Wheeler
\n\u2019s Auto team are ready to put their bad luck behind them and return to their
\nwinning ways of last season, when they won 10 feature events at Stafford.
