The winner\u2019s share of the purse is $3,500 with $300 in<br \/>\nfirst place contingency money available from CARQUEST Auto Parts and<br \/>\nTrantolo and Trantolo.  Additional contingency bonuses of $125 for second<br \/>\nplace will be paid by Call Before You Dig, and New England Race Fuel will<br \/>\nsupply a $50 product bonus to the third place finisher and a $25 product<br \/>\nbonus to the top-3 finishing cars using the Stafford Speedway SK Modified\u00ae<br \/>\nSpec Engine, bringing the total posted awards for the 8th Annual CARQUEST SK<br \/>\n150 up to $25,300.  Drivers must have contingency decals from each<br \/>\ncontingency sponsor on their cars to receive the contingency bonus and<br \/>\ndrivers must use Sunoco Race Fuel in order to receive the New England Race<br \/>\nFuel product bonuses.<\/p>\n<p>The 8th Annual CARQUEST SK 150 will start 30 cars and pays $300 to start the<br \/>\nrace, while 10th place will pay $1,000.  The purse increases by $100 for<br \/>\neach position from 9th place to 3rd place, while second place pays $2,200.<br \/>\nThe payout for 11th place is $900, and from positions 12 through 16, the<br \/>\npurse decreases by $100 per position.  The 17th position pays $375, and the<br \/>\nremainder of the starting positions decreases by $25 per position to 20th<br \/>\nplace, with all drivers finishing 20th thru 30th receiving $300.<\/p>\n<p>In 7 previous CARQUEST SK 150 events at Stafford, there have been four<br \/>\ndifferent race winners: Ted Christopher (2000, 2001), Ronnie Silk (2002),<br \/>\nFrank Ruocco (2003, 2009, 2010), and Woody Pitkat (2008).  Ruocco has been<br \/>\nthe dominant driver of late when it comes to the CARQUEST SK 150, with three<br \/>\nwins and a second place finish in the past four 150-lap events.  The<br \/>\nCARQUEST SK 150 has also produced two first-time SK Modified\u00ae feature<br \/>\nwinners at Stafford with Silk\u2019s victory in 2002 and Ruocco\u2019s win in 2003.<br \/>\nTickets for the 8th Annual CARQUEST SK 150 are on sale now at the Speedway<br \/>\nBox Office.  Tickets are priced at $25.00 for adult general admission<br \/>\ntickets, $5.00 for children ages 6-14, and children ages 5 and under are<br \/>\nadmitted free of charge when accompanied by an adult.
