The featured event on Thursday June 14 will be the “Wreaths Across America” Ikey Dorr Memorial 50 lap event for Street Stocks. Promoter Chuck Hall says he has cars coming from as far away as Canada to race for the $1000.00 top prize, and expects at least 40 cars to attempt to qualify. The purse also includes $20.00 for each lap led, so the possibility exists for a $2000.00 payoff to the winning Street Stock driver. The regular Saturday night Dysart’s Late Models, Sportsman, Sport-Fours and Bombers will all be in action on that special Thursday night show. There will be no racing at Speedway 95 on Saturday July 17.

The mid-week double header program will extend into the next week with a regular Wacky Wednesday show on July 20, and on Thursday, July 21, the 1st annual John Phippen Memorial 100 for the Dysart’s Late Models will highlight the mid week show. Track owner Del Merritt has posted a $1200.00 first prize for the event to date, with a possibility of more sponsorship being obtained between now and the 21st. Budweiser, King of Beers will sponsor the night’s regular activities, with the Good News Center, Banner and Signs of Hermon and Shirtworks working to promote the Phippen Memorial 100 lap Late Model event.
