LOUDON, N.H. (July 12, 2011) – Why would anyone ever bet against NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Kyle Busch? Even the most ardent fans of other drivers have to admit Busch is looking like a serious contender for unseating Jimmie Johnson’s historic run of Championship seasons.<\/p>\n
Busch dominated the inaugural race at Kentucky Speedway this past weekend, winning the Quaker State 400 the old fashioned way: he got out front early and simply stayed there.
\nWith Busch’s third victory of the season, the No.18 M&Ms Toyota now leads the pack. Busch sprinted to the Cup lead and it’s going to take some unexpected bad luck for that to change this weekend.

\nBusch is very comfortable at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. He has won the last two NASCAR Nationwide Series races at “The Magic Mile” and he also has won the last two NHMS Camping World Truck Series races.<\/p>\n
He last won a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at New Hampshire in 2006. But, the Sprint Cup Series points leading driver likely won’t accept waiting long to win his 100th career NASCAR race.<\/p>\n
“New Hampshire is a fun track for me,” said Busch. “In order to do well there, you need a car that works on all the different kinds of asphalt the tracks seem to be putting down. You need a car that has a lot of side bite in the rear and front grip to turn easier. At New Hampshire, it seems like I’ve always been loose into the corner and tight in the center, which is hard to fix, sometimes. I think the team that can fix that the best will have the best car. Even though I won a Cup race there earlier in my career, my first two years with Joe Gibbs Racing, I really struggled there in the Cup car. Dave Rogers has done a great job with our cars there and our results have improved. I’m hoping we can get to Victory Lane there with our Interstate Batteries Camry in July.”<\/p>\n
