Hudson N.H. \u2013 Jared Soucy picked up his third Thunder Light feature win of the 2011 racing season this
\npast Sunday evening at Hudson International Speedway. Carlos Esquivel brought the field to the drop
\nof the green flag and led the first three laps of the caution free event. Soucy took over at that point and
\nJustin Beecher followed Soucy past Esquivel into second place. Soucy and Beecher waged a side by side
\nbattle for the lead eventually being joined by Chad Wendell to make it a three way battle. With Beecher
\nand Wendell battling for second it took a little pressure off Soucy and he was able to cross the finish line
\na few car lengths ahead of Beecher in second place and Wendell in third place. Meegan Lord was fourth
\nfollowed by Esquivel and Mike Erickson Jr. Beecher won the heat.

\nDave \u201cHollywood\u201d Helliwell picked up his first ever win in the Rookie Stocks. Helliwell recently
\nmoved up from the Roadrunners and was making his third Rookie start ever. Mike McHugh led the first
\nhalf of the feature holding off Helliwell who was running side by side with him for many laps. A lap
\ntwelve caution bunched the field for a restart and Helliwell got a better start and grabbed the lead going
\ninto turn one but McHugh managed to get back in the lead before long. Helliwell finally put McHugh
\nbehind him for good and held off the likes of second place Dan Murphy Jr. and third place John Morin Jr.
\nFollowing Morin Jr. over the line were Jerry Lepage, Corrie Merritt, Scott Thomson, Roger Tanquay Sr.,
\nMcHugh and Bill Helliwell. Lepage won the heat.<\/p>\n
Nick Fisette picked up his second Roadrunner feature win of 2011. Fisette started deep in the
\nfield but took advantage of a lap one melee that sent cars spinning. With no caution needed, Fisette
\nquickly took the lead and stretched it by many car lengths. A late race caution bunched the field for a
\nrestart but Fisette was up to the challenge and took the winner\u2019s trophy home. Jef James and Anthony
\nBelfiore were trading fenders in the closing laps in a side by side battle for second place. At the finish,
\nJames was scraping the wall but had to settle for third in the photo finish. Fourth through tenth were
\nJen Lord, Tom Lord, Erica Page, Robert Rund, Scott Dunkle, Bob \u201dStrawberry\u201d Fields, and Ray Pat.
\nBelfiore and Jen Lord won the heats. Johnny Reefer finished last in the feature.<\/p>\n
Alan Archambault won the triple crown by winning the Spectator Race, Flagpole Race and Spectator
\nDrags.<\/p>\n
The Grand Enduro was won by Dave McCarthy followed by Roland Leplante, Corrie Merritt, Ryan
\nFoley and Travis Nevers.<\/p>\n
The 4 Cyl. Enduro was won by Richard Beauschene followed by Isaac Chabot, Paul Wainwright,
\nJay Kezer and the Jessie Honigs.<\/p>\n
