\nSzegedy, the 2011 season has played out like a roller coaster ride. Szegedy
\nand the #2 Wisk \/ AJ Romano Construction team began the year with accidents
\nin the first two races of the season after running among the leaders in each
\nrace. In the 4 races since, Szegedy and crew have notched 2 wins and 4
\ntop-10 finishes. Szegedy is the defending champion of the Town Fair Tire
\n150 at Stafford and he is keen to take home another Town Fair Tire 150
\ntrophy when the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour visits Stafford Speedway on
\nAugust 5 for the 21st Annual Town Fair Tire 150.<\/p>\n
\nnow, we feel like we can win every time we go to the track. Phil [Moran]
\nand I are working well together and I feel like we\u2019re a potent combination
\nright now. The crew is giving me good cars that I can win with every race,
\nit\u2019s my job to put them into victory lane. I consider Stafford my home
\ntrack and I know where we need to be with the car, which helps Phil set the
\ncar up for the race.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nlooking to continue his surge in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour points
\nstandings. After finishes of 22nd and 24th in the first two races of the
\n2011 season, Szegedy was a distant 25th place in points. In the next four
\nWhelen Modified Tour races since, Szegedy has recorded two wins and 4 top-10
\nfinishes to climb his way into his current ranking of 5th place in the point
\nstandings, 104 points behind Rowan Pennink. Szegedy is also the most recent
\nfeature winner on Tour, taking the checkered flag at New Hampshire Motor
\nSpeedway.<\/p>\n
\nstill in the championship hunt,\u201d said Szegedy. \u201cThe only thing we can do is
\nto keep running strong. We have a fast car right now and sometimes you have
\nluck on your side. We\u2019re pretty happy with where we are right now because
\nwe have a car that is capable of winning every week. Even though we

\nconference it was like a win because Ryan [Newman] wasn\u2019t racing for points,
\nso we go the max points from that race. Every spot and every points counts,
\nso our goal is to get max points at every race. The winners\u2019 check from New
\nHampshire is also going to help us out a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nknows what it takes to win a Stafford race and what to expect for car
\nsetups. Szegedy says that the track might be a bit slower for the Town Fair
\nTire 150 and that he and his team are ready for the challenge.<\/p>\n
\n\u2019s a number of guys out there that can win at Stafford on any given night,
\nbut I have confidence in Phil giving me a winning setup, it\u2019s going to be up
\nto me to put the car in victory lane. The track is usually quick in the
\nspring and in the fall, but it seems to fall off a little bit in the summer.<\/p>\n
