Woodstock, N.H. (.25-mile banked oval)<\/p>\n<p>**************<\/p>\n<p>JOEY, WHAT PUT YOU OUT?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe think that something broke in the rear end. I hit the gas, and it just spun. I think (Derek Ramstrom) was on the outside of me, and I thought something was going to happen. I thought (the car) was going to come back up the track and take us both out \u2013 but luckily it didn&#8217;t.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>WAS THERE ANY PRIOR INDICATION YOU MIGHT HAVE A PROBLEM?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo. It felt fine. I came off the corner and going down the middle of the straightaway, it just revved right up like it popped out of gear or something. It wasn&#8217;t like it was in neutral \u2013 it was still trying to drive. It was only driving on the left rear.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNothing else I could have done.
