{"id":759,"date":"2009-07-06T04:54:29","date_gmt":"2009-07-06T09:54:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newenglandracingnews.com\/blog\/?p=9076"},"modified":"2009-07-06T04:54:29","modified_gmt":"2009-07-06T09:54:29","slug":"josh-st-clair-wins-again-at-wiscasset","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newenglandracingnews.com\/blog\/2009\/07\/josh-st-clair-wins-again-at-wiscasset\/","title":{"rendered":"Josh St. Clair Wins Again at Wiscasset"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;font-size: small\"> Wiscasset,  ME- Wiscasset Raceway moved their weekly racing program to Sunday this  week to allow their fans to do traditional things on the 4<sup>th<\/sup> of July like to go to parades, have family barbeques and watch fireworks.  When the Wiscasset fans did get to the track on Sunday they got to see  fireworks again and I\u2019m not just talking about the ones in the sky.  There were fireworks on the track as well. Liberty\u2019s Josh St. Clair  picked up his second win of the season at the \u201cCenter of Speed\u201d  on Accord Auto and Self Storage night. The win for St. Clair was a hard  fought one though. He had to hold off T.J. Watson for all thirty laps.  Watson would finish second after the race had to be red flagged for  Tyler Robbins who broke his wrist in turn one. Third place would go  to Steve Reno as he made his return to Wiscasset Raceway. Joey Doyon  took home fourth in his first start at Wiscasset driving for Dave St.  Clair and fifth would go to Seth Raven.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;font-size: small\"> The  Aable Auto Parts Mini Stock feature had a mixture of ages in it. Fourteen  year old Ryan Ripley would pick up another feature victory over Pete  McCollet who is nearing fifty years of age. Thomas True of Wiscasset  would continue his streak of top three finishes crossing the line in  third. 2007 division champion Kevin Douglass would take home fourth  and Tasha Dyer fifth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;font-size: small\"> Chad  Binette brought his number ninety six U.S. Cellular Mini Truck back  to Wiscasset Raceway and was pleased with the decision to do so as he  would pick up his third feature win of the season. Kevin Oliver also  made his return to Wiscasset a worth while trip as he finished second.  Current point leader Ryan Hayes would take home third as Opie and Roger  Allard rounded out the the top five.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;font-size: small\"> In  the New England Transmission Strictly Street division point leader Mike  Moody picked up the feature victory but he to hold off a hard charging  Jamie Henderson to do so. Jamie\u2019s father Wally Henderson would take  the final spot in victory lane. Ian Bresnehan and Ed Sleeper finished  fourth and fifth respectively. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;font-size: small\"> The  Verizon Wireless Super Street division put on a great show for the fans.  Allan Moeller Jr. picked up his second straight feature victory. He  crossed the stripe just in front of Josh St. Clair who was pulling double  duty. Jeremy Glasier finished third while Bryan Robbins of Montville  and Ricky Merrill finished fourth and fifth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;font-size: small\"> The  Clark\u2019s Car Crushing Pro-Stock\u2019s saw Chuck Colby pick up his second  straight feature victory. Gary Smith was hot on his heels though as  he crossed the start\/finish line. D.J. Shaw would finish third with  Scott King and Dave Farrington Jr. rounding out the top five.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: x-small\"><strong>Next week at Wiscasset Raceway:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: x-small\"><strong>Sat.
