This action-packed event, which gets underway at 1:00 p.m., will determine the 2011 CFS champions in the Shediac Sportsman, Mini Stock and Four Fun stock-car racing divisions. All Terrain Vehicle (ATVs) will be challenged by the in-field obstacle course and side-by-side dirt drag racing lanes. As an added bonus, the afternoon will include a Powder Puff Derby for ladies who want to show off their driving skills. General admission for Saturday\u2019s event will be FREE for all families from Sussex and area, Sackville and Chipman (with presentation of a valid driver\u2019s license) whose postal codes begin with E4A through E4P. Admission for all other spectators will be as follows:<br \/>\nAdults (16+) = $10<br \/>\nChildren (9-15) = $5<br \/>\n8 and Under = Free<br \/>\nPit Pass (14+) = $12<br \/>\nWeekend Pass (Sept 24 and 25) = $30<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, September 25th, RAIN OR SHINE, the ground will definitely be shaking as FOUR top-ranked Monster Trucks invade the CENTRE for an afternoon of \u2018outdoors and unleashed\u2019 competition featuring side-by-side racing, freestyle, and wheelie competition events. As if that wasn\u2019t enough, Sunday\u2019s Metal Core \/ D&#038;R Scrap Metals event will also include a full-contact 100-lap Endurance race, a \u2018Barrel race\u2019, Burnouts and the GIANT Atlantic Championship Demolition Derby for a \u2018crush and bang&#8217; afternoon of non-stop action.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday\u2019s field of Monster Trucks will include one of the most original Monster Trucks currently competing in North-America, Crushstation &#8211; the \u2018Monstah Lobstah\u2019 from Jefferson, Maine, as well as Bounty Hunter, Higher Education and Black Stallion, all multi-time Monster Jam World Finalists, who will all lay down tracks at the CENTRE for one of the biggest MONSTER TRUCK show to ever hit the Maritimes!<\/p>\n<p>The large open infield at the CENTRE will feature two-side-by-side ovals complete with \u201cbig air\u201d opportunities for the drivers of these Monster Trucks, similar to what fans have seen during the \u2018Monster Jam\u2019 events held at facilities such as the Houston Astrodome in Texas. Sunday afternoon\u2019s event will provide the drivers with all sorts of opportunities to showcase the awesome horsepower and handling of these awe-inspiring machines.<\/p>\n<p>The full throttle action gets underway at noon (12:00 p.m.) on September 25th with an opportunity for fans to get up-close and personal with their favorite MONSTER TRUCK competitors during a photo and autograph session. These 1,800-horsepower car crushing machines will then be \u2018unleashed\u2019 at 1:00 p.m. when the action starts with side-by-side car crushing races, freestyle and wheelie competitions.<\/p>\n<p>Advanced tickets are available online at www.centreforspeed.com or at Franks Music in Moncton (near the Trinity Home Depot), and the Shediac Co-op Grocery Store customer service desk with savings of $8 per Adult ticket, and $5 per Junior ticket (ages 3 to 15).<\/p>\n<p>Prices at the gate on September 25th will be $28 for Adults (16 and above), and $15 for Juniors (3-15 years old).
