(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Motor Speedway has announced the following
\npenalties following the running of the October 1-October 2 CARQUEST Fall
\nFinal Weekend NASCAR Whelen All-American Series feature events.<\/p>\n
Woody Pitkat, driver of the No. 88 Late Model, and Ryan Posocco, driver of
\nthe No. 48 Late Model, have been penalized for a rules violation committed
\nthis past Sunday in the Late Model feature at Stafford Motor Speedway.

\nBoth Pitkat and Posocco have been disqualified from their respective first
\nand fifth place finishes for violating the VALVE SPRING RETAINERS subsection
\nof rule 20F-5.5.6 HEADS (The only steel retainers allowed will be of a
\nweight no lighter than 30 grams.) of the 2011 NASCAR Whelen All-American
\nSeries Late Model rulebook.<\/p>\n
Mark St. Hilaire, driver of the No. 3 Late Model, was penalized for a rules
\ninfraction that occurred this past Sunday in the Late Model feature at
\nStafford Motor Speedway.<\/p>\n
St. Hilaire was disqualified from his second place finishing position for
\nviolating rule 20F-5.5.6 HEADS (Other head modifications that are not
\npermitted include but are not limited to: Porting, polishing) of the 2011
\nNASCAR Whelen All-American Series Late Model rulebook.<\/p>\n
Dillon Moltz, driver of the No. 94 Late Model, was disqualified from his
\nthird place finishing position in Sunday\u2019s Late Model feature for refusing
\nto present his car for post-race technical inspection.<\/p>\n
Kelsey Rottino, driver of the No. 36 DARE Stock, was penalized for a rules
\ninfraction that occurred this past Saturday in the DARE Stock feature at
\nStafford Motor Speedway.<\/p>\n
Rottino was disqualified from his first place finishing position for
\nviolating rule 20F- 5.10 CARBURETOR (Alterations to allow additional air to
\nbe picked up below the opening of the venturi such as altered gaskets; base
\nplates and drilling holes into the carburetor will not be permitted.) of the
\n2011 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series DARE Stock rulebook.<\/p>\n
