Other winners before the wet<br \/>\nstuff halted the racing action included Kyle Gallant, Travis Dodge and<br \/>\nDick McPhail.<\/p>\n<p>St.Clair, a third-generation competitor and grandson of multi-time<br \/>\ntrack kingpin Dave \u201cBoss Hogg\u201d St.Clair, methodically worked his way<br \/>\nfrom the back of the starting grid, past polesitter and early race<br \/>\nleader Frank Moulton of Burnham, then cruised to the checkered flag<br \/>\nwith ease once in front.<\/p>\n<p>Moulton, the Late Model division\u2019s point leader, helped his<br \/>\nchampionship quest with a runner-up finish, while RJ Austin of<br \/>\nSmithfield, making his first appearance of the season on the Unity<br \/>\ntrack, crossed the line in third position. Big John Phippen of Bar<br \/>\nHarbor mounted an impressive, late-race charge to claim fourth<br \/>\nposition at the finish, with Anson\u2019s Mark Dodge, also making his first<br \/>\nstart of the season, just edging out Glenn Curtis of Hudson for the<br \/>\nfinal top-five finishing position. Moulton won the heat race.<\/p>\n<p>Kyle Gallant of Veazie won the 35-lap main event for the Monsta Mini<br \/>\nclass. The victory earned Gallant a guaranteed starting position in<br \/>\nthe Four-Cylinder Nationals Mini Stock race on Sunday, August 2 at<br \/>\nBeech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough.<\/p>\n<p>Gallant started from the pole position and led every lap in the<br \/>\nspecial Monsta Mini main event. Reigning division champion Mike Wilson<br \/>\nof Chelsea chased Gallant for the first half of the race, but yielded<br \/>\nthat spot to Oakland\u2019s Reggie Bickford, who finished in the runner-up<br \/>\nposition. Wilson finished third, with Tasha Dyer of Arrowsic fourth<br \/>\nacross the line and Tim Collins of Farmingdale finishing in fifth<br \/>\nplace. Gallant was the heat race victor.<\/p>\n<p>Dick McPhail of Clinton took top honors in the Wicked Good Vintage<br \/>\nRacing Association\u2019s 15-lap feature event. McPhail, 70, led early but<br \/>\nyielded the spot for several laps to Ricky Burgess, Jr. But Burgess,<br \/>\nbeset by mechanical demons throughout the night, couldn\u2019t keep his<br \/>\ncoupe-bodied Modified up to speed and watched McPhail go past and<br \/>\ndrive to victory lane shortly after he got to the front. Bob Hills<br \/>\nfinished in the runner-up position, with the top five filled out by<br \/>\nNorris Wilette, Mike Willette and Tim Reynolds.<\/p>\n<p>Travis Dodge copped the checkered flag in the 20-lap Enduro division<br \/>\nrace, outrunning Winterport\u2019s Henry Boudreau to the finish line.<br \/>\nDarrin Dyer of Canaan ended up in third position, followed by George<br \/>\nOverlock of Hermon and Robert Padddack of Clinton.<\/p>\n<p>Before the rain heat race wins were posted by Kris Watson of Hermon,<br \/>\nJimmy Dennis of Benton, Andy Turbovsky of Winslow, Shadow Folsom of<br \/>\nSkowhegan, Mike Mason of Skowhegan, Mika Wilson of Chelsea and Lucas<br \/>\nPorter of Norridgewock. Nick Lizotte of Sidney thrilled the crowd with<br \/>\na rollover in his heat race. Following a quick pit stop Lizotte<br \/>\nreturned to competition and passed several cars to claim a<br \/>\nfourth-place finish.<\/p>\n<p>Rained-out feature races will be made up first on this Friday night\u2019s<br \/>\ncard for Super Street, Wildcat, Late Model Pro Four, Flyin\u2019 4, Ladies<br \/>\nand Teen Thunder divisions beginning a bit earlier than usual at 6:00<br \/>\np.m. \u00a0Those make-up feature races will be followed by a full card of<br \/>\nNWA On Fire Professional Wrestling and regularly-scheduled feature<br \/>\nraces for all weekly racing divisions. It\u2019s also Christmas In July<br \/>\nnight at the Raceway.
