The event will take place Sunday afternoon September<br \/>\n16.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\n\u201cTogether with general manager Dick Therrien, we were able to put<br \/>\nthe event together,\u201d said Parks.\u201d Canaan is a giant piece in the puzzle<br \/>\nfor our series. They race Pro Stocks on a regular basis. The outside<br \/>\ngroove at Canaan makes for great racing. Our competitors will look<br \/>\nforward to competing there.\u201d  <\/p>\n<p>Parks also announced the loss of the date scheduled at Lee USA Speedway,<br \/>\nLee, NH., in June. \u201cWe\u2019re very disappointed to not be going to Lee for the<br \/>\nJune race.  Speedway management has advised they are having issues with<br \/>\nthe town over noise. We are trying to fill that date at this time,\u201d Parks said.<\/p>\n<p>The series opens its season Saturday, May 26, at Monadnock Speedway.
