Since then, both children have been
recovering, with Marialena still in the hospital. Donations are being taken
to help the effort of allowing father Jason to be by his daughters side
24/7.

“The Trinca family raced at the Riverhead Karting Club where I raced and we
became good friends off the track,” said Bonsignore. “An accident like that
is a tragedy for any family to have to go through and I’m hoping that we can
raise as much money as possible to be able to help out Jason, Marialena, and
Christopher. The race should be a good time, it’s all for fun and no
business.”

Bonsignore will kick off his fundraising efforts this Saturday, March 3rd at
the Occupy the Oval R/C Charity Race, which will be taking place at R/C
Madness in Enfield, CT. After finishing outside the top-10 in
the first 3 Stafford events of 2011, Bonsignore had a great run in the
CARQUEST Fall Final event, scoring pole position and leading 79 laps before
finishing 10th. Bonsignore is hoping to build upon that Fall Final success
in the four Stafford races during the 2012 season.

“We love coming to Stafford,” said Bonsignore. “We’ve had some really
decent runs, we just haven’t had the finishes to show for it. We brought a
new car to the Fall Final and we were able to put it on pole. We ended up
leading a bunch of laps before we got caught up in traffic. We feel like we
have a good package for Stafford and we’re looking forward to the 2012
season, we think we have a good shot at it this year.”

To make a donation to the Trinca Family Memorial Fund and for more
information on the event, please refer to Bonsignore’s CARQUEST Champions
for Charities donation page located at www.staffordspeedway.com.
