Stafford Motor Speedway opens its doors to the
\nracing season with the 41st Annual CARQUEST Tech-Net Spring Sizzler on April
\n28-29, with the CARQUEST Belts & Hose Pit Party again ready to serve a
\ndistinguished role in the weekend\u2019s activities. The CARQUEST Belts and Hose
\nPit Party gives fans the chance to get up close and personal with their
\nfavorite drivers and cars on the frontstretch infield prior to racing
\nactivities on Sunday, April 29th. Fans will have access to all of the NASCAR
\nWhelen Modified Tour drivers as well as drivers from Stafford\u2019s five NASCAR
\nWhelen All-American Series divisions. One driver who will have an extra
\nspecial giveaway during this year\u2019s CARQUEST Belts & Hose Pit Party is
\nRichie Pallai, Jr.

\nPallai is the driver of the #39 Bosch Spark Plugs Chevrolet on the NASCAR
\nWhelen Modified Tour and he is one of the 13 drivers that will be taking
\npart in the CARQUEST Champions For Charities race as part of CARQUEST Super
\nSaturday on June 30. As part of his fundraising duties for the Danbury
\nAnimal Welfare Socitey (DAWS), Pallai will be giving away CARQUEST Belts and
\nHose tee-shirts during the CARQUEST Belts and Hose Pit Party for a $5.00
\ndonation to DAWS. Pallai\u2019s tee-shrit giveaway will be just one of many
\nitems that will be given away by drivers during the CARQUEST Belts & Hose
\nPit Party. Drivers will also be available to sign autographs and pose for
\npictures, as well as giving race fans unique access to their chariots of
\nspeed that they hope will carry them to CARQUEST Victory Lane during this
\nyear\u2019s CARQUEST Tech-Net Spring Sizzler Weekend.<\/p>\n

The CARQUEST Belts and Hose Pit Party turns 23 this year as the very first
\nStafford Pit Party was held in 1990. Stafford saw how successful the pit
\nparty concept was during its Monster Truck events, and they decided to
\nimplement the Pit Party as part of the race weekend festivities for the
\nfirst time at the 1990 CARQUEST Fall Final Weekend. While the pit party
\nconcept was new to weekly New England race tracks, it has gained in
\npopularity throughout the years and is now considered an industry standard
\nat many tracks throughout the northeast. CARQUEST Belts and Hose became the
\ntitle sponsor of the Stafford Pit Party in 2007, making the 2012 season the
\n5th consecutive year that Stafford\u2019s pit parties have carried title

\nnow on sale at the Stafford Motor Speedway box office. Tickets are priced
\nat $38.50 for adult general admission tickets, $5.00 for children ages 6-14,
\nfree for children ages 5 & under, and reserved seating is priced at $42.00
\nfor all ages. Tickets are good for admission to the Saturday, April 28, and
\nSunday, April 29 portions of the Tech-Net Spring Sizzler, with the Friday,
\nApril 27 practice session open the public free of charge. The CARQUEST
\nBelts & Hose Pit Party is open to all CARQUEST Tech-Net Spring Sizzler
