Race Fans Can Help Children in Need Leading Up To & During Full Throttle Fall Weekend

LOUDON, N.H. – Speedway Children’s Charities New Hampshire Chapter will host fundraising events leading up to and during the second annual Full Throttle Fall Weekend to help children in need across New England, starting with the One for the Kids Golf Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Loudon Country Club, which is just down the road from New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

“We are looking forward to hosting the One for the Kids Golf Tournament in the fall this year,” said Hillarie Scott, director of Speedway Children’s Charities New Hampshire Chapter. “We encourage our race fans who play golf to sign up and join us for a day of fall fun to raise money to help children right here in New England.”

This scramble format tournament costs $150 per player, which includes greens fees, golf cart, lunch and awards banquet. Players can register online through Friday, Sept. 13 at 12:00 p.m. or at the event on Saturday, Sept. 14 starting at 7:00 a.m.

If you don’t play golf but still want to donate to Speedway Children’s Charities New Hampshire Chapter, keep an eye out for the Red Bucket Brigade as they make their way through the grandstands in search of spare change and loose bills during the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Musket 250 presented by Whelen on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 3:05 p.m.

Each December, Speedway Children’s Charities New Hampshire Chapter distributes grants to nonprofit organizations in the region. In 2018, 55 grants were distributed totaling $75,190, and since its inception in 2009, New Hampshire Motor Speedway and SCCNH have distributed more than $1.7 million supporting more than 749,000 children across New England.
