Waterbury, VT – Williamstown, VT’s Jimmy Hebert pulled away late to win a barnburner in the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) Thompson 75 at Connecticut’s Thompson Speedway on Saturday, June 15. Hebert got the top spot for good from E. Bridgewater, MA’s Ryan Kuhn on lap 67 after multiple lead changes during the closing stages and held on from there to earn the $5,000 victory in round two of the Summer Kickoff Series.

Thompson, CT – Williamstown, VT’s Jimmy Hebert pulled away late to win a barnburner in the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) Thompson 75 at Connecticut’s Thompson Speedway on Saturday, June 15. Hebert got the lead for good from E. Bridgewater, MA’s Ryan Kuhn on lap 67 after the two had swapped the lead multiple times during the events closing stages. He then took advantage of a slugfest for the runner-up spot to earn the $5,000 victory in round two of the Summer Kickoff Series.
JARED ROY OFF TO STRONG START IN THOMPSON MINI STOCKS

THOMPSON, Conn. – Jared Roy almost had two wins in a row in the Mini Stock division.
As part of the Thompson 125 last week, Roy went into turn three on the final lap side-by-side with Scott Michalski headed for the final stretch. When they crossed the finish line, it was Michalski who was celebrating after winning by just .002 seconds.

ACT to Headline at Thompson Following NASCAR Cancellation
Waterbury, VT – The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) will now have top billing when the series rolls into Connecticut’s Thompson Speedway on Saturday, June 15. NASCAR and Thompson officials announced on Tuesday that the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East 100 scheduled for that day has been cancelled and will not be replaced on the program.
