Bennett off to a sizzling start in 2018
WATERFORD — Peter Bennett ended the 2017 riding a wave.
This year it’s turned into a tsunami.
He already has two wins in the New London Waterford Speedbowl’s Legends
car competition — one on Saturday and one on Wednesday — and is leading
the Saturday point standings by six points over Scott Limkemann. He is
second in the point chase on Wednesdays, seven points behind leader

Legend Cars, SK Modifieds ® to highlight June 30th Speedbowl Summer
Showdown
Waterford- The Summer Showdown Legends race is just over two weeks
away. The Legends division will compete in a 35 lap special event,
showcasing the division. As an added bonus, the SK Modifieds ® will run
their 80 Lap feature event that was rained out on Budweiser Blast-Off
weekend. This event is scheduled for Saturday, June 30th. The guaranteed
winning pay out in that race is $4150.00.

ACT Loads Up for Second Round of Showdown Series
Waterbury, VT – The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) makes its way to Connecticut’s New London-Waterford Speedbowl this Saturday, June 16 for round two of the ACT Summer Showdown Series. The New London-Waterford 150 will award the second $5,000 winner’s check of the 2018 season, meaning someone’s racing bank account is about to get a lot bigger.

Speedbowl – After massive wreck, Cassidy, Canfield recover
WATERFORD — Their Mini Stocks looked more like corpses than race cars.
Ken Cassidy’s No. 11 Mini Stock was totally destroyed after he flipped
his car over on the first lap of the 25-lap feature at the New
