Victory is first Cup Series win for Elliott and 250th Cup Series trophy for Hendrick Motorsports

Chase Elliott earned his first career Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series victory at Watkins Glen International
Elliott and his father Bill become the seventh father-son duo to both record victories at NASCAR’s premier level joining the Earnhardt’s, Jarrett’s, Baker’s, two generations of Petty’s and the Allison’s.
The win is the second of the season for Chevrolet and 18th victory for the brand at The Glen
The win is the 250th Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series triumph for car owner Rick Hendrick
The win is the second MENCS victory for the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in its debut season as Chevy’s flagship vehicle in Cup Series competition.
Chevy now has 777 all-time MENCS victories.

WATKINS GLEN, NY – Chase Elliott led two different times in his No. 9 Sunenergy1 Camaro ZL1 for 52 of the 90 circuits around the 2.45-mile Watkins Glen road course en route to his first career Monster Energy Cup Series victory in the GoBowling at the Glen, the 22nd-race of the 2018 campaign. Elliott’s victory is the second for the Camaro ZL1 in Cup Series competition, ending a 20-race winless streak for the Bowtie Brand. This is the 22-year-old’s first win and first top 10 finish at Watkins Glen International in his 99th career MENCS start.

SALAMANCA, N.Y. (Feb. 19, 2018) – Veteran snowmobile racers Leo Patenaude and Alissah Ashline earned final round wins in their respective classes on Saturday, as East Coast Snocross (ECS) completed Round 7 on the 2018 schedule at the beautiful Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino.

The races were run alongside the ISOC national tour, making their annual trip to western New York for the U.S. Air Force Snocross Nationals. Reigning Pro champion Kody Kamm and rising star Daniel Benham (Pro Lite) swept their respective finals over the weekend with world class consistency.

FINDLEY LAKE, New York (March 28, 2017) — Vermont veteran Leo Patenaude swept the Pro Open finals over the weekend, as East Coast Snocross (ECS) completed its 2017 season finale at the Peek’n Peak Resort.

Patenaude, of Hartland, powered by his younger brother Hunter early in Saturday’s 10-lap final and hung on for top honors. Hunter gave Ingles Performance a 1-2 finish with a second-place effort, while Pro Open Rookie-of-the-Year Cody Paolella (Team Southside/Polaris) crossed the stripe in third.

Airborne Park Speedway 2017 Schedule

PLATTSBURGH- For the first time in twenty-six years, a full dirt racing schedule is slated for Airborne Park Speedway.

The 2017 season will feature two premier events along with a number of other high quality racing series and events.

The most anticipated for the season falls on Thursday, July 6, with the Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modified Tour. The Mike Perrotte led series averaged 40 cars attempting to qualify for their events in 2016. Last season’s champion, Matt Sheppard is back contending with SDS, including other top runners Tim Fuller, Danny Johnson and Brett Hearn.

Saturday, June 10 will be Empire Super Sprints night. Drivers from both the United States and Canada are expected for this event. Steve Poirier was last season’s ESS champion.

PLATTSBURGH, New York (Feb. 27, 2017) – Norwegian racer Kristoffer Holm notched his first clean sweep of the Pro Mod finals over the weekend, as East Coast Snocross (ECS) completed Round 4 at the Clinton County Fairgrounds.

Holm (Team Southside/Polaris), of Storslet, Norway, dominated Friday’s Pro Mod final (a first under the lights) after nailing a perfect start. Leo Patenaude (Ingles Performance/Ski-doo) crossed the stripe in second, while Cody Paolella (Team Southside/Polaris) filled out the podium in third.

SALAMANCA, NY (Feb. 5, 2017) — Midwest veterans Travis Muller and Camryn Anderson earned final round wins in their respective classes on Saturday, as East Coast Snocross (ECS) completed Round 2 of the seven-race 2017 schedule at the beautiful Seneca Allegany Resort and Casino.

This round was run during ISOC’s annual Eastern National, allowing for crossover between regional and national tours which enhanced the competition in both series.
