Andretti Scores First Indianapolis 500 Pole
for Fast Family since 1987

INDIANAPOLIS (Aug. 16, 2020) – For the first time in 33 years, an Andretti will lead the Indianapolis 500 to the green flag.

Marco Andretti, the grandson of the 1969 Indianapolis 500 winner Mario Andretti, topped eight other NTT INDYCAR SERIES drivers in the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge Fast Nine Shootout to claim his first NTT Pole Award of 2020 on Sunday.

It was his family’s first Indy 500 pole since Mario Andretti won the pole in 1987 and the first pole for a car carrying the No. 98 since Parnelli Jones won the pole for the 1963 Indianapolis 500.

INDYCAR To Welcome Fans for July 17-18 Iowa Speedway Race Weekend

INDIANAPOLIS (June 18, 2020) – INDYCAR will welcome fans to Iowa Speedway for the upcoming July 17-18 race weekend featuring the NTT INDYCAR SERIES Iowa 250 races and the ARCA Menards Series race.

Under the guidance of public health officials, medical experts and local, state and federal authorities, INDYCAR and Iowa Speedway will observe safe social distancing and provide enhanced hygiene and safety precautions for all fans in attendance at the event. Only a limited number of tickets will be available for the upcoming race weekend with each group of fans in attendance separated by at least 6 feet of distancing at Iowa Speedway, in order to align with Iowa state COVID-19 guidelines.

Virtual racing series heads to COTA Saturday on NBCSN; F1 standout Norris joins field

INDIANAPOLIS (April 23, 2020) – With just two rounds remaining, it’s time to find out who is the true king of the virtual INDYCAR road.

The INDYCAR iRacing Challenge returns to a natural road course after two consecutive oval races with the AutoNation INDYCAR Challenge at 2:30 p.m. ET Saturday, April 25 at virtual Circuit of the Americas (COTA). The 32-lap race on the 20-turn, 3.427-mile circuit at COTA, located in Austin, Texas, will be televised live on NBCSN.

Pagenaud masters Motegi oval to win Firestone 175 after stirring duel with Dixon

INDIANAPOLIS (April 18, 2020) – Nearly a year after winning the biggest oval race of them all, Simon Pagenaud continued his mastery of virtual circle tracks by taking the checkered flag at the Firestone 175 on Saturday, April 18 at Twin Ring Motegi.

2019 Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge winner Pagenaud edged five-time NTT INDYCAR SERIES champion Scott Dixon by .3429 of a second after a spellbinding duel in the wild closing 10 laps of the 113-lap race. Pagenaud averaged 177.345 mph in the No. 22 DXC Technology Team Penske Chevrolet.
