The season kicked off with action at Seekonk Speedway as Jacob Burns secured a well-deserved win in the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars opener for the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown.
The race provided some exciting drama, particularly between the top contenders. For much of the 30-lap showdown, Burns was battling Isaiah Newcomb for the lead, setting the stage for an intense finish in the Legends Cars category.
However, the race took an unexpected turn when a crucial move occurred late in the event. As Newcomb attempted to make a cross-over maneuver on Burns, contact from behind caused Newcomb to spin out of control.
This incident immediately shifted the dynamic of the race, leaving a new challenger in contention for the top spot and adding an extra layer of excitement to this week's Triple Crown event.
