Crate Modifieds and Super Pro Trucks Battle at Riverhead Graduation Night

Riverhead Raceway hosted a special Graduation Night for the NASCAR Local Racing Series, featuring eight feature events for the end of the school year. The action was centered around the Eagle Chevrolet Crate Modifieds, where drivers were locked in a tight chase for the 2026 championship points.

In the Crate Modified class, AJ DeSantis of Yaphank and Michael Berner of Patchogue tied for the lead with 96 points each. Both drivers have secured wins, while Richie Davidowitz of East Moriches is hunting for his first Crate victory of the season. Defending champion Eric Hersey of Commack finished fourth in the standings.

The Super Pro Trucks competition was equally competitive, with Charles Sudano of Merrick and Erin Solomito of East Quogue tying at 94 points. This class saw strong performances as Frank Dumicich Jr. of East Quogue sat just four spots behind, while Mark Stewart of Riverhead ranked fourth.

In the Legend Race Car division, Riely O'Keefe of Manorville held a 24-point lead over Anthony Marsh of Riverhead heading into the fifth race. Meanwhile, Richie Davidowitz cemented his status as the all-time leader in the division by recording his 30th career win at the event.
