Richie Davidowitz Claims Crate Modified Victory at Riverhead

Riverhead Raceway·

Richie Davidowitz secured a hard-fought victory in the 25-lap Eagle Chevrolet Crate Modified race held at Riverhead Raceway. The win was particularly emotional for Davidowitz, who drove for the Rat Pack Racing team following the sudden passing of their patriarch, Joe Ratti.

Davidowitz started strong, breaking away early with the pole position and battling closely with Kyle Ellwood throughout the contest. The race featured intense action as Vinny Delaney made a dramatic move on lap 12, challenging for the lead before the battle resumed, culminating in a late challenge from rival AJ DeSantis who pushed Davidowitz to the finish.

The results across the board were competitive. In the Crate Modified class, Richie Davidowitz took the top spot, followed by AJ DeSantis and Michael Berner on the podium. Other classes saw strong performances, including Frank Dumicich Jr. taking the win in Super Pro Trucks and Riely O'Keefe winning the INEX Legend Race Cars.
