Andrew Molleur is stepping into a full-time role in the SK Modified series for the remainder of the 2026 season, taking the seat in the No. 11 Hummel Motorsports entry at Stafford Motor Speedway.
This change comes as Matt Vassar, who previously drove the Hummel Motorsports car, was forced to miss the rest of the season due to an injury sustained during an event at Stafford on June 5th. Molleur, who was crowned the 2024 SK Modified champion at the same facility, is now taking the reins.
Molleur expressed enthusiasm about the opportunity, noting the strong team and crew chief he is joining. He highlighted the expertise of the crew chief, Ed Flemke Jr., emphasizing that having someone who builds the race car also serves as the crew chief provides a significant advantage in the sport.
The transition allows Molleur to continue his involvement with the Hummel Motorsports program, building on his existing relationship with John and Eddie Hummel. This move solidifies Molleur's commitment to the SK Modified competition at Stafford for the rest of the year.
