The feature winners of the 59th consecutive season week five sponsored by PTO’s Auto Repair were: Kyle Huntington in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds; and Jason Gray in the makeup race from Valley Floors night, Chris Roberts® in the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes; Keegan Tabor® in the Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Sportsman Modifieds Limiteds; the Xtreme DIRTcar DMA Midgets were OFF; Ryan Christian in the High Country Dispensary Late Models; Mike Mann in the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks; and Doug Boucher in the Woodsville Power Equipment Bobcat Ridge Runners. For the visiting Sprint Cars of New England, it was Will Hull and in the inaugural wingless event Floyd Billington.
Kyle Huntington becomes the sixth feature winner in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds. Huntington was able to capitalize on his front row starting position and a green to checkers event to hold of Owen Brown with is best finish of the season who held on for second. Brian Chaffee would join the pair in victory lane with his third place finish. Jason Horniak was two for two for the night with his fourth place finish and Max Dolliver rounded out the top five. The Valley Floors makeup feature capped off the night with the 2 days shy of a full moon overhead. This event held quite a different flavor with the drivers seemingly bound and determined to make it a caution ladened event to offset the green to checkers feature earlier in the night. With flips and pile ups the main attraction, when the dust finally settled those lucky enough to see the checkers would be Jason Gray, your winner with Owen Brown capturing back to back podium wins once again in second, and Max Dolliver beating out Jason Horniak at the line for third. Horniak and Richie Simmons rounded out the top five.
It only took six weeks for the asphalt driver to figure out how to get to the front in the Wells River Chevrolet-part of the Auto Saver Group DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes. Chris Roberts®, formerly a Thunder Road Speedway Late Model driver, decided he wanted to give it a try on dirt. Going from asphalt to dirt doesn’t usually fair well for most drivers, but Roberts has made it seem like a Sunday drive, with only one finish out of the top ten so far this season, he has weekly shown he can get the job done. He would punch his ticket into the end of season growler event, taking home the win and padding his rookie of the season points lead. Micheal Danforth crossed in second with Rob Williams making his second trip of the season to victory lane in third. Lucas Wheeler and Cooper hodge completed the top five.
A new name tops the charts in the Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Sportsman Modified Limiteds. Keegan Tabor beats out Lucas Balch for the win the first driver not with the last name of King. Shawn King joined the pair in victory lane crossing in third, with dad Bryan King coming home in forth. Jordan Robinson finished out the top five.
Ryan Christian wins in the High-Country Dispensaries Late Models with Tim Higgins in second, and Kevin Smith making his third trip to victory lane crossing in third. Kelly Miller Sr and Jeff Reynolds completed the top five.
It was an emotional victory lane for the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks. Mike Mann, having lost a close friend earlier in the week and with Dad Preston’s wings riding on his hood, would emerge from his machine surrounded by friends and family with lots of hugs as he takes home the checkers, his first win since his return to the division. Tim Tucker, still looking for his first win, falls short with his fourth second place finish. Keith Mansur is the final victory lane visitor, with Matt Pike and John Fields rounding out the top five.
With mid-season just around the corner the points battle in the Woodsville Power Equipment Bobcat Ridge Runners is shaping up to be one hell of a battle. With only six points separating fourth from first, it is going to prove to be a battle of the fittest to find out who will be standing on top when the final checkers of the season waves. Doug Boucher gets his third win of the season, the only repeat winner with Zach Audet (currently tied for second with Boucher) in second. An old familiar name Spencer Braley with his first visit of the season comes home in third. Ryan Sayers (leading points by three) and Kevin Laforest (sitting in fourth six points back) completed the top five.
The Sprint Cars of New England were back in town with wings and wingless machines on hand. For the Wings, Will Hull, wanting to vindicate his finish from his first outing, knew it would be his race to lose with his second row start if he could get to the front early. The first of only two cautions would wave on lap five giving Hull the break he needed to get the point on the restart and sail on to his first win of the season. Hull beat out the Professor Chris Donnelly who would run out of time and have to settle for second with Kadyn Berry coming home in third. Troy Comeau and Matt Hoyt rounded out the top five.
In the inaugural wingless event, established to be a feeder division for the Wings, Floyd Billington shows the pack the way to the front and scores the win over Donald Ottati and Jamie Glidden who crossed the line second and third. Toby Stark and Mark Cole rounded out the top five.
The 95.3/107.1 The Wolf weekly racing series division on hand will be the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, the Wells River Chevrolet-part of the Auto Saver Group DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes, Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Sportsman Modifieds Limited, Xtreme DIRTcar DMA Midgets, High Country Dispensary Late Models, LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks, and the Woodsville Power Equipment Bobcat Ridge Runners. PLUS our Davids House Benefit will be held.
The July 4th event is a SPECIAL Admission event. Adults/Teens/Seniors $20.00 and children 11 and under $2.00. Military discounts are available at $5.00 off for those with a valid ID. The back gate (pit gate) ticket price for Bear Ridge Speedway and DIRTcar 2026 license holders is $30.00. Non-license holders are $40.00 (both prices include the front gate ticket.)
