
Nicholas Naugle picked up his second consecutive Fort Garry Industries Pro Stock Tour victory after taking the lead on a late-race restart. With the win, Naugle becomes the first two-time winner on the Series this season. Robbie MacEwen appeared poised to capture his first career Tour victory off Prince Edward Island after leading the most laps but settled for second at the checkered flag. Jarrett Butcher held off a hard-charging Ashton Tucker in the closing laps to secure third, while the reigning Tour champion finished fourth. Austin MacDonald was also in the mix during the closing laps, battling with Butcher and Tucker before rounding out the top five.
NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Cole Butcher had to retire from the race early due to mechanical issues.
Atlantic Tiltload Heat Races were cancelled due to an extended rain delay that postponed the start of today's event. Contingency cash and prizes based on feature racing were presented to the following drivers: Eastlink Fastest Lap Award: Donald Chisholm; R&D Performancentre Most Laps Led Award: Robbie MacEwen; Swift Springs Hard Charger Award: Ashton Tucker; QA1 Free Pass Award: Chris Hughes; Fivestar Hard Luck Award: Ryan VanOirschot; Lucas Oil Rookie of the Race: Owen Mahar.
