The 2026 season at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park delivered some major victories, particularly in the Modified classes. Todd Owen secured his first Sunoco Modified win of the year, effectively ending Keith Rocco's impressive season-long winning streak on the track.
Other notable results came from various divisions. Austin Goff also claimed a victory in the SK Light Modified category at Thompson. Furthermore, Jarrod Soucy was victorious in the Street Stock division, adding another win to the Thompson event.
The Late Model competition also saw action, with Matt Lowinski-Loh topping the Late Models standings at Thompson. In other series, Jeffery Battle took the top spot in the New England SuperModified Series at the event.
Beyond the Modified and Late Model action, other racing events were held nearby. Bobby Labonte ran a Late Model race at Thunder Road International Speedbowl, while the Craftsman Truck Series made a return to Lime Rock Park this weekend.
