Michael Berner secured his second victory of the 2026 season in the highly competitive Eagle Chevrolet Crate Modified feature at Riverhead Raceway. Berner chased down race leader Kyle Ellwood throughout the 25-lap event before executing a final pass to take the checkered flag.
The battle for the win was intense, with Berner and AJ DeSantis battling closely behind the frontrunners. The action saw several close calls as drivers maneuvered through the corners, demonstrating the high level of skill required in this class. Other notable results included Matt Triola winning his first career Blunderbust feature.
Beyond the Crate Modifieds, other classes also delivered exciting results. Jim Sylvester took the top spot in the INEX Legend Race Cars, while Ryan Zukowski remained perfect in the Mini Stocks. Mike Mujsce Jr. also achieved a second victory of the season in the 4/6-Cylinder Enduro competition.
The event featured numerous high-level competitions, including the Blunderbusts and the Tip the Cow race, which was won by Keith Rotzi. The overall field showcased strong performances across various modified and stock classes at Riverhead Raceway on July 10th.
