Burt Myers claimed victory in the Modified Twin-25s race at Bowman Gray Stadium, securing win number 106. The event also saw Daniel Beeson achieve a significant milestone by taking the win in the Modified Twin-25 class for the first time.
Myers started on pole for the opening feature and led the field throughout the event despite several cautions. The race featured intense action, including an early incident where Daniel Beeson spun down the track after contact with Jordan Flemming, before he managed to recover and continue his run.
Beeson ultimately rallied to take the checkered flag, earning his first career victory in a Modified at Bowman Gray. This achievement followed a strong performance in the second race where he secured pole position for that feature.
Myers’ win places him just one victory shy of the all-time record held by Tim Brown. Myers also tied his son, Slate Myers, with the most wins for the season. Beeson reflected on his victory, noting the long journey it took to achieve this milestone in Modified racing.
