Nicholas Naugle continued his remarkable run on the Fort Garry Industries Pro Stock Tour on Saturday night, capturing the prestigious IWK 250 presented by Steve Lewis at Riverside International Speedway. Naugle charged from the rear of the field twice to reclaim the lead before fending off a series of late-race restarts to secure the biggest victory of his career.
The win is worth a cool $20,000, but perhaps even more importantly, Naugle will forever have his name engraved on the revered John W. Chisholm Memorial Cup, joining an elite list of IWK 250 champions.
Two-time IWK 250 winner Craig Slaunwhite crossed the line second, while reigning Fort Garry Industries Pro Stock Tour champion Ashton Tucker completed the podium in third. Jordan Veinotte finished fourth, with rookie Ayden Christensen delivering an impressive drive to round out the top five.
