Patrick Emerling achieved a significant milestone at White Mountain Motorsports Park on Sunday afternoon, securing his second consecutive victory in the 2026 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour campaign. This win came after facing mechanical adversity earlier in the event, demonstrating resilience as he navigated the challenges of the race.
Prior to the final result, Emerling experienced a setback when an air cleaner detached from his car on Lap 46 due to a broken stud on the carburetor. Despite this issue, Emerling and his team made the smart call to pit for fresh tires while addressing the mechanical problem, keeping hope alive for a strong finish.
The perseverance paid off as Emerling ultimately took the lead, eventually earning his 11th career NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour victory. Following him was Austin Beers, who finished in second place. The race also saw Paulie Hartwig III secure third place, rounding out a strong showing for the top finishers.
The competition remained tight throughout the event, with the top four teams in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour standings separated by only 10 points entering White Mountain. Emerling’s ability to overcome early misfortune solidified his position as a title favorite heading into the remainder of the season.
