A packed weekend of NASCAR Local Racing Series action is scheduled for this Friday, July 24th, and Saturday, July 25th, at historic Riverhead Raceway. The event features a doubleheader combining competitive Crate Modified racing on Friday with the highly anticipated 7th annual Oval Speed Bubba 150 NASCAR Modified race on Saturday.

Friday night will feature the Crate Modifieds competing in the Eagle Chevrolet 50, doubling their feature distance for this event. Michael Berner of Patchogue is among the contenders, having secured previous wins, while other drivers like AJ DeSantis and Richie Davidowitz vie for top spots in the point standings. Several drivers are aiming for their first victory of the season in this competitive field.

Saturday brings the main attraction: the Oval Speed Bubba 150 NASCAR Modified event. With over $14,000 in special award and lap money at stake, this race is the most lucrative regular season event of 2026. Chase Grennan, the defending Bubba 150 winner, looks to defend his title, while Owen Grennan chases the championship lead behind Mark Stewart.

The weekend also includes other exciting features, such as Demolition Derbies and Super Pro Trucks events on Saturday. General admission gates open Friday at 6:30 PM, with opening ceremonies planned for 8:00 PM, setting the stage for a full day of motorsports excitement.
