The ASA STARS National Tour is heading back to the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains for the HickoryHillTN.com 325 on July 25th. This event will bring 325 laps of super late model racing to the historic Newport Speedway, affectionately known as “Little Bristol.”
Returning drivers are focused on recapturing past success. Derek Kraus is aiming to repeat his performance from 2025, while Kyle Steckly seeks a stronger showing to close the gap in the points standings. The competition remains tight as Carson Brown leads the championship points with a significant advantage over Steckly.
Steckly faces a strong field this weekend, including a powerful four-car entry from the Wilson Motorsports stable. This group includes George Philips, who brings prior experience to the track, alongside newcomers Jade Avedisian and Kasey Kleyn, both making their first starts at the Tennessee venue.
Adding another layer of excitement is the ASA STARS Tour debut of Keelan Harvick, who will pilot the No. 62 Rackley WAR Toyota. The family presence will be felt all weekend as Kevin Harvick is scheduled to serve as the event’s Grand Marshal, bringing NASCAR championship pedigree to the short track action.
