The Wall’s Ford Platinum Late Model Series returns to White Mountain Motorsports Park for Round #2 in the popular Kancamagus 112 presented by CSV Motorsports and Passumpsic Bank.
After a thrilling Spring Board 100 back in May, the Kancamagus 112 is sure to call up some of the region’s top talent for a final test and tune ahead of next weekend’s big Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250!
Kasey Beattie’s Spring Board 100 win has him atop the Wall’s Ford Platinum Series standings as he looks to take the Kancamagus 112 this Saturday and keep his streak alive! Beattie will face plenty of heat, including from fellow track championship hopefuls Quinny Welch, Colin Cornell and last week’s 50-lap winner Kyle Goodbout alongside invaders like Justin Prescott, Brandon Gray, Brian Hoar and Kaiden Fisher.
While the Late Models headline Saturday’s action, the show is filled out with five more divisions including The Farmyard Store Flying Tigers. Young star Luke Peters is well on his way to a first career championship after his fourth victory last weekend. Peters has shown the speed and consistency of a veteran twice his age and now holds a healthy 16-point gap over fellow Vermonter Cam Ouellette.
The Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Strictly Minis are in similar territory with Jacob Roy leading the charge for his first career championship in the four-cylinder ranks. The Danville native has two wins to his credit and stands just eight points ahead of fellow two-time winner Donnie Baumgardner. The Strictly Minis are all but guaranteed a first-time champion with Tyler Thompson, Brett Rowell and rookie Lucas Sidney joining Roy and Baumgardner to fill out the current top-five runners.
The Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division returns to the Mountain this Saturday. With five different winners in as many events this year, the competition among these youth racers has been hot to trot and Saturday will certainly be no exception! Maddie Potter, Makenzi Sicard, Kaden Wimble and Bella Hamel are among the top runners looking to secure their first White Mountain win of the season on Saturday.
The GoMotorsports.com NELCAR Tour also returns to White Mountain this week with both the Legends and Bandoleros in tow.
