Howie Brode and Danny Grennan are set to be honored with induction into the Cromarty Wall of Champions at Riverhead Raceway. This recognition ceremony will take place before the annual Baldwin, Evans & Jarzombek 77 event on Friday, August 7th, recognizing their status as former three-time track champions in the respectful classes who each accumulated more than 20 features throughout their careers.
Howie Brode has a storied history in the sport, including multiple victories in the Baldwin, Evans & Jarzombek 77 for the Buzz Chew Chevrolet NASCAR Modifieds. His journey includes winning championships with Peter Clark Motorsports/Petro Home Services and later success with the team at Riverhead Raceway. Brode’s career also spans various classes, demonstrating a deep commitment to motorsports.
Danny Grennan followed a similar path, achieving success in the Super Pro Trucks class where he secured multiple victories. Like Brode, Grennan also competed in the Charger division for his brother Ray and established himself as a tough competitor across different racing disciplines over the years.
Beyond their individual achievements, both drivers share a strong connection to the racing community through family involvement. Both families have a history of participation in karting and other racing ranks, and today, Danny Grennan is actively involved in owning NASCAR Modifieds for his sons Owen and Chase, while Howie Brode mentors his son Matt in the Riverhead Raceway NASCAR Modifieds.
