Rain Forces Thunder Road Schedule Overhaul

RaceDayCT·

Unexpected rain forced Thunder Road International Speedbowl officials to implement a significant schedule overhaul for the remainder of the 2026 season. The event originally slated for July 30th had to be postponed, requiring adjustments across the board for upcoming races.

The changes affect several key events, including the Alera Group Street Stock Triple Crown, which will now conclude on Five Star Roofing Sunday, August 9th. Other events have been shifted around to accommodate the new timeline, ensuring the season can still proceed.

Specific rescheduling includes moving the Bergamot + Amor / Calkins Portable Toilets Night to September 17th and pushing back the Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Championship Night to September 24th. Officials emphasized that despite the disruption, they are committed to making necessary changes to keep the season running.

The remaining schedule features events like the Bolduc Metal Recycling Enduro 200 on August 2nd and the NBT Bank Road Warrior Challenge on August 6th. Fans who attended the original July 30th event were reminded that their ticket stubs and pit passes remain valid for entry to these rescheduled dates.
