Barre, VT – After unexpected rains moved in on Thursday to postpone the July 30 event, Thunder Road Officials sharpened their pencils Friday morning with a revamped schedule for the remainder of the 2026 season.
The Alera Group Street Stock Triple Crown will continue as a three-in-a-row series for the rk Miles Street Stocks and will now wrap up on Five Star Roofing Sunday, August 9. The 50-lap Bolduc Metal Recycling Special on Sunday, August 2 and NBT Bank Night on Thursday, August 6 fill out the Alera Triple Crown.
Bergamot + Amor / Calkins Portable Toilets Night featuring the Port-a-Potty Grand Prix has been postponed to Thursday, September 17.
With the move, Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Championship Night has been pushed back one week to Thursday, September 24.
Officials remind all fans and teams that were present on July 30 that their General Admission ticket stubs and Pit Passes will be good for entry to the Thursday, August 6 event.
“It’s an unfortunate reality that this business hinges on whether or not the skies open up and soak us out,” said Thunder Road managing partner Cris Michaud. “We’ll keep making what changes are needed to get this season in and we hope to see everyone for our packed August and September schedule!”
Thunder Road is right back in action this Sunday for the 42nd annual Bolduc Metal Recycling Enduro 200 and 50-lap Street Stock Special! ‘The People’s Race’ returns to the Barre highbanks with your friends, neighbors, coworkers and more looking to take on Thunder Road in their homemade junkers! Sunday’s special Post Time is 6:00pm!
