Missouri’s Kenny Wallace, the younger brother of 1989 NASCAR Champion Rusty Wallace, is coming to Rutland County on Saturday, August 22, for a night of racing, laughs, and memories at Devil’s Bowl Speedway in West Haven.

From the short tracks of the Midwest to the biggest stages in American racing, Kenny “Herman” Wallace has entertained race fans for years as both a driver and TV commentator, appearing on pre-race and post-race television programs on FOX sports and the former SPEED channel. His NASCAR driving career began in 1988, driving a car owned by the legendary Dale Earnhardt. In 2000, Wallace drafted with Earnhardt at Talladega, pushing the racing icon to his 76th and final NASCAR Cup victory.

Wallace is perhaps best known for his success in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series in which he earned nine wins and made 547 starts in his career, the second most all-time behind active driver Jeremy Clements. Following the end of his NASCAR driving career, Wallace has continued racing on dirt tracks across the country with success, winning numerous modified races in his No. 36 machine. He has also recently competed in the SRX (Superstar Racing Experience) series.

Fans can expect to see the passionate Kenny Wallace with his big personality, signature laugh and easy-going nature on August 22 during the scheduled meet and greet/autograph session, but, the serious racer side of him will also be on display as he takes on the best local drivers at “New England’s Fastest Dirt Track.”
