Mia Lovell stopped by for an ARCA Break to discuss her journey in the racing world. She shared how her experience has evolved over her three-year rookie season in the ARCA Menards Series West, noting significant growth from starting out to fighting for wins.
Lovell explained that her interest in racing stemmed from growing up as a competitive skateboarder and action sports enthusiast. She found that while skateboarding provided hand-eye coordination, racing offered a different challenge, emphasizing the technical and mental strategy required on the track.
She also touched upon how music helps her manage the stress of racing, providing a relaxing and grounding experience. Lovell is currently building a 78 Trans Am Hot Rod with family and has gained hands-on knowledge about car components while pursuing her goals in the sport.
