Stafford Speedway is set to host the 13th Annual NAPA SK 5k this Friday, August 7th, bringing together the SK Modified® racing scene. Drivers will compete for a total of over $35,000 in posted awards during this highly anticipated event.
Adding extra excitement to the competition is a bonus program sponsored by Wheelers Auto Service from Hamden, CT. This year, the service facility is contributing $2,500 toward the heat race bonuses, which will be distributed among the top three finishers in each SK Modified® heat.
The bonus structure rewards the top finishers with $300 for the winner, $200 for second place, and $125 for third place. Wheelers Auto Service has been a proud supporter of these heat race bonuses since the very first NAPA SK 5k back in 2014, underscoring their commitment to the series.
The event features several former winners in the field, including Michael Christopher, Jr., Todd Owen, Keith Rocco, and Marcello Rufrano. The action will continue as drivers battle not only for race wins but also for positions in the Sign Pro Triple Crown standings.
