Lovell’s path into motorsports was inspired by her background as a competitive skateboarder and action sports enthusiast. While both skateboarding and racing involve high risk, the transition brought a significant shift in focus. She found that the technical and mental strategy required in racing—dealing with engine mechanics and long-distance strategy—was a different kind of challenge than the pure aggression of skating.
Beyond the track, Lovell balances her competitive life with other passions, including music. She finds that playing instruments helps her relax and focus, providing a grounding element amidst the stress of racing. This blend of skills has allowed her to develop into a well-rounded competitor.
