Media credential requests are being accepted for the Aug. 21-23 NASCAR weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS). Requests must be submitted by this Sunday, Aug. 9. Requests made after the deadline may not be fulfilled.

Credential requests should be submitted online using SMICredentials.com. Media members must first register with the site and be approved before applying for specific event credentials. The registration information will be used for basic contact points as well as to determine the status of each application.

Media members will be contacted by email, generally within five business days, regarding whether their registration has been approved or denied. Once registered, the username and password selected will allow access to the website in order to check status, or, once approved, to apply for credentials to specific events.

Please note: Although a media member may be approved by one Speedway Motorsports facility for an event, it is not a guarantee of approval for future events at separate facilities.

Media members who have been approved to apply for credentials to NHMS’s NASCAR weekend can choose from the following options:

Hard Card (Only for those who have a 2026 NASCAR-issued hard card)

NASCAR Essential Worker Pass (Required for all media members who do not have a 2026 NASCAR-issued hard card). If approved, you will receive a NASCAR Essential Worker pass that grants access to NASCAR-restricted areas. This pass cannot be mailed out in advance; it must be picked up on site during NASCAR weekend at the NASCAR Credentials Hauler, which will be parked near the speedway’s Main Entrance. You must complete a waiver in advance and show your photo ID upon pick-up.

Photographer (Required for everyone working as a photographer during the event weekend). If approved, you will be granted a photo vest to access certain photographer-only areas. Reserved seats in the Photo Room will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis and are not guaranteed. You must also request access to the Media Center to be considered for a reserved seat in the Photo Room. Commercial and other non-editorial photographers should request photo access through Jeremy Bramley with NASCAR Productions at [email protected]. All approved photographers must attend a Zoom photo meeting prior to the event weekend in order to receive a photo vest.

Parking. If approved, you will receive a weekend parking pass appropriate to the area for which you are working. All parking passes granted by the Aug. 9 application deadline will be mailed to the address on your SMICredentials.com profile. NHMS will not reissue parking passes to media members who did not receive their parking pass due to a wrong address on SMICredentials.com.

If your parking pass request is received and approved after the Aug. 9 application deadline, your parking pass will need to be picked up at NHMS Credentials, located at the Operations building at the speedway’s Main Entrance during NASCAR weekend. You will need to show your photo ID upon pick-up.

Media Center. If approved, you will have access to the infield Media Center. This does not guarantee you a reserved seat. Reserved seats in the Deadline Room (media working on deadline only) and Photo Room (photographers only) will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis.

Overlook Workspace. If approved, you will have access to a workspace overlooking the racetrack. Seats in this area are extremely limited and will not be assigned. Seats will be accessible on a first-come-first-served basis and are not guaranteed. Please note: the NHMS Press Box will not be open or accessible to media during the Aug. 21-23, 2026 NASCAR weekend.

Approved credentials will be valid for the following events:
