Jake Crum secured a commanding victory in the recent SMART Modified return to Pulaski Motorsports Park, marking his second win of the season. Despite strong competition, Crum demonstrated superior pace throughout the event to claim the top spot.
The race featured several strategic moves early on. While Burt Myers started on pole position, Crum quickly moved to the lead on lap ten. The field saw activity as drivers managed pit stops for tire changes, with some staying out to battle for track position before the final push.
Crum ultimately established an insurmountable lead, taking the top spot with 40 laps remaining. He reflected on the win, noting that he felt the increased speed from the competition pushed everyone to race harder. Crum credited the effort of the fans and crew for making the day memorable.
Ryan Newman finished in second place, closely followed by Cayden Lapcevich on the podium. The final results showed a tight finish among the top contenders at Pulaski Motorsports Park.
